Give back to Dave Wade
Through the years, artist Dave Wade has supported Cokeville fundraisers through the donations of his prints and paintings. He donated time when he lived here encouraging and working with youth of our area. He and his family are beloved former residents of Cokeville. He worked with many people on painting classes. His wife, Julie, was a valuable contributor to our community and supported Dave in his artistic contributions to Cokeville.
Now, it is time for Cokeville to give back to Dave Wade.
The Cokeville Miracle Foundation is sponsoring a "Give Back to Dave Wade" fundraiser. They have commissioned an original painting of a Panther. Mr. Harris, high school principal, has agreed that it can be hung at the high school and he is looking for a suitable location.
GOAL: Raise $8000 by Spring of 2009
100% of donations will go directly to Dave Wade
This comes to $16 from 500 people.
Please watch for more information
And Dave is still giving to Cokeville...His paintings can sell for much more than we will be raising from community members. The foundation commissioned the painting to give Cokeville past and present members the opportunity to give back to Dave and his family, as well as the added bonus of contributing to a public art collection for Cokeville

What a great opportunity for all to give to the Wades and the high school. I love it. Where do we donate?
Our local community non-profit organization, The Cokeville Miracle Foundation, is spearheading this project. All funds raised will be collected by the Cokeville Miracle Foundation and then presented in the form of a check from the community at an assembly for Dave and Julie Wade when the painting is completed.
For any group that for legal or tax purposes needs to contribute to only "tangible goods", there will be additional funds needed to properly hang, secure, and protect the painting in the high school, early estimates at $3000.
Any CMF OFFICER is authorized to take donations. All funds will be held in an account for this outreach project.
The goal was revised to be $5000 and was reached in a relatively short period. The painting was presented to the community at the 2009 Homecoming assembly and the high school principal, Keith Harris, has made arrangements for it to be on permanent display. Any money raised in addition to the $5000 will also be presented to Dave. Thank you to all who participated and a special thanks to Dave and his family and the supporters of the Cokeville Miracle Foundation.
