A Personal Note From Karla regarding WSL - PART 2 of 4

The answer I received was "yes", this opportunity is for many that meet certain requirements and have skills necessary for this type of job. Of course with Wyoming dollars, preference is for Wyoming residents.

Being an officer of the Cokeville Historical Society and knowing that the Wyoming State Library would come to Cokeville at the request of the Cokeville Historical Society, I approached the president, Charlotte Freeman, about the idea and she was excited to host the event. I have recently been elected to be the new chairman of the Cokeville Miracle Foundation and one of our mission statements is to help improve the lives of citizen's of Cokeville. This job certainly fit that! Together, Charlotte and I, after talking to our respective boards, decided the Cokeville Historical Society and the Cokeville Miracle Foundation could co-sponsor this event and highlight our wonderful little community by showing our visitors a good time! We would take them to the Minerva Teichert Invitational Art Show and really let them know how glad we are they came to our town.

The Wyoming State Librarian has been just great to work with. She has answered all our questions and been very gracious in following the time schedule we've outlined for her. I can't wait to meet her in person. (I consciously do not post her name, she doesn't need all of us calling her!)
