Wyoming State Library Trainings...first two sessions

The ladies (Erin Kinnery, Lesley Boughton) from Cheyenne need to be applauded. They have been working very hard the last three days, traveling from Cheyenne on Tuesday to present to Kemmerer in the morning on Wednesday and Afton in the afternoon of the same day, along with an Afton training. Traveling to Cokeville to present on Thursday and then do two training sessions. Not getting into bed until after 10pm to be ready to train again at 8am, see the Minerva Teichert presentation by Julie Rogers at the LDS church at 10 am on Thursday, to return to train at the Cokeville High School at 11 am and leaving to present and train in Green River at 1pm the same day! If you see these gals, just say thanks!

The trainings went very well. Many people expressed interest in possible next trainings. Please leave your names with Erin Kinney. These first trainings filled up within 72 hours of being opened up. Training sessions had to be made, instead of just open to all, because of the huge interest (that was bigger than anticipated, but that is good!). The fairest way was first come first serve and word of mouth took care of getting word out. It worked faster than the signs that were hung up around town! Everyone didn't hear and everyone didn't get a training slot this time, but it was done if a very fair and efficient way. Thanks for understanding.

The two trainings today went well. They were quite different. Feedback from the first session allowed the second session to go a little smoother.

Huge thank you's to: Principal Keith Harris who allowed this training to happen during this very busy time; Darren Moody for preparing the school, hallways, and signs for us to get to our training room; and especially Brian Toomer who got the computers up and running, kept them up and running, answered our questions, helped us with copies, pens, technical difficulties...and sat through both sessions. Thank you for this great opportunity! It does take a whole village...
